Queensland Sex Workers Assessment of Needs
Julie Bates and Rigmor Berg I have been contracted by Queensland Health to conduct an assessment of
the needs of sex workers in Queensland in relation to
H.I.V. ⁄
AIDS, Hepatitis C and sexual health
education and prevention, as well as other needs. This is a very important project for sex workers in Queensland
because the report will guide Queensland Health's decisions about the type of future service they will fund for sex
workers in Queensland. We therefore ask any Transgender Sex Worker in Queensland who would like to take part in the
survey to email Julie Bates as soon as possible as the
assessment needs to be completed by mid– April. People who are interested in taking part in this assessment
are reminded to observe the Gender Centre's Privacy Policy with regard to outbound links and are advised that the

Transperspectives
Sara Davidmann, Photographer in conjunction with the United Kingdom's Arts and Humanities Research

identities that are currently being recognized and utilized by trans people and aims to gather and record trans
people's experiences in relation to how the exterior world affects them. Sara has contacted the Gender Centre and
requested an explanation of the survey and a link be provided on our website. People following this link and
